Wyoming County Family Resource Center

A Place for Families to Find Support, Resources, and Connection

The Wyoming County Family Resource Center was created to help strengthen families by providing access to supportive services, educational opportunities, and community resources in a welcoming environment.

Operated by HANDS of Wyoming County, the Family Resource Center promotes both formal and informal support systems for families through programs and activities focused on family engagement, child development, and overall well-being.

We believe families thrive when they feel connected, supported, and informed.

  • Every family has unique strengths and needs. At HANDS, we work alongside parents and caregivers to help connect them with resources, information, and services that can make everyday life a little easier.

Families visiting the Resource Center are not told what they need — they are asked what will help.

Our staff listens carefully and strives to respond to each family with compassion, encouragement, and support.

  • The Family Resource Center was established after a community needs assessment identified the importance of stronger family support systems, better access to services, and increased awareness about the importance of early childhood education.

Today, the Center continues to serve as a trusted resource where families can turn for guidance, support, and community connection.
